Project of the Year and other stuff
It has been a great first year living at Radiance. We were able to get most of the landscaping finished, everyone had productive vegetable gardens, we had the deck built (thank Crow Carpentry), the sidewalk installed, and even hosted a few social gatherings. The Common House bedroom was well used as part of Air BnB, and also our own family and friends. It was an honor this year, to receive the Rob Dumont Project of the Year award for our outstanding work in energy management and to see Cascadia Windows receive an award in China. The large windows are amazing, allowing us to enjoy the winter sun in comfort.
There is still more to do. We are working on building a bike rack for visitors and cold shed for storing root vegetables. I am finally finishing off the plans for under my stairs. We are looking forward to seeing the plants fill in and the trees to produce fruit in the coming years. For now, it is everything I hoped for.
